Dragonslayers is the official Gaming and Anime Society of Queens University Belfast (QUB). We provide a platform to satisfy the needs of gamers and anime lovers from the university, but also for Belfast and Northern Ireland as a whole. Although we are a predominantly a student society, we offer membership to anyone over the age of 18!
We provide our members with a venue to enjoy their favourite games, to try out something new in addition to a full calendar of special events and a forum to meet other likeminded gamers. Whether you are an experienced veteran, a casual beginner, or just interested in seeing that all the fuss is about, we have something to suit your taste!
In addition to the gaming aspect of Dragonslayers, our members can also enjoy our weekly anime sessions, thanks to support from Crunchyroll. You can find updated listings both on our Facebook group and here on our website.
Dragonslayers meets twice weekly in the Queens Student’s Union opposite the University; Tuesday Nights 6pm-10:30pm, and Saturday Afternoons 12pm-6pm in The Space on the first floor of the building. Weekly meetings draw over 150 people, from across the anime and gaming spectrum, and all newcomers are welcome to attend.
At Dragonslayers, we don’t shut up shop for the summer! Although we do stop for a break during the quiet Christmas holidays and around Easter, we typically continue to meet every week. Any listings for closure can be found on our Facebook, or here on the front page of our website.
