We at Dragonslayers are not only excited to screen anime for our members, but also to see anime screenings by other groups and organisations. We are very pleased to see some great anime coming to Queen’s Film Theater, starting with Naoko Yamada’s A Silent Voice, based on the manga series written by mangaka Yoshitoki Oima, serialised in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
The film centres around Shôya, who bullies classmate Shoko because of her hearing impairment. Years later, wracked with guilt, Shôya tries to find Shoko who had to move to a new school. A heartwarming and thought-provoking anime about regret, reflection and atonement.
The movie starts at 13:30 on Sunday, the 25th of February 2018.
Student Tickets are £4, Full Price Tickets are £6.70
