Presentation by the competition organisers in the Sonic Arts Research Centre at QUB on Tuesday 14th March at 2:30pm! Are you a programmer, artist, animator or audio student that eats, sleeps and breathes computer games then you and 4 other similar students could create a masterpiece during the summer.
Dare to be Digital are seeking talented students within computer arts and programming, ideally in their 3rd and 4th years to get together a team of 5 to apply to this prestigious competition – online applications www.daretobedigital.com
Noted below are the details of the competition, the benefits, how to apply and the competition prizes:-
Details -
- Dare to be Digital is a 10 week computer game competition (June – August)
- 4 Scottish teams and 2 Irish teams will be selected for the competition
- 10 weeks based in Dundee - FREE student accommodation
- A project fee of £170 per week is given to each student + £200 team budget
- Attend EIEF (Edinburgh Interactive Entertainment Festival) – FREE
- Mentors are appointed to help and support
- Industry exposure (presentations, help and advise)
