Saturday Slayers is the nickname of the second regular weekly gaming session run by the QUB Dragonslayers. The format of the new session is much the same as that of the current Tuesday night Dragonslayers gaming session - An open gaming session providing the facilities required to enjoy your favourite game with other Dragonslayers members.

A great deal of work went into securing a regular venue for Saturday Slayers and thankfully the time spent really did pay off. The Hospitality Services Department of Queens University has agreed that for our weekly Saturday gaming sessions the Dragonslayers club can use the Elms Conference Facility in the Queens University Halls of Residence.

For those of you not familier with the Queens Halls of Residence, they are located just off the Malone Road, about 10 minutes walk up from the main Queens Campus. To find the Elms Conference Centre ask for directions at the Halls of Residence reception . The doors open for Saturday Slayers at 11am each Saturday and we will close up at about 6pm.

If for any reason the room is unavailable, such as public holiday or conference bookings, then details of an alternative venue or cancellation will be posted via the Dragonslayers web site.

The Halls of Residence Venue has a wide selection of amenities, such as a bar, cafe and shop. All of these will be usable by Dragonslayers members at Saturday Slayers. Some of these services are not available during the summer holidays, but the nearby Spar Service Station and shop is open 24 hours all year round. We have agreed for reasons of clenliness that we will not eat or drink in the gaming room (bottled water is fine), but worry not as the cafe area will be available to us.
