We would like to say a big thank you and congratulations to everybody involved with Q-Con this year. From the Con Director, to the registration desk volunteers everybody involved really did help to make the event what it was. The event was amazing, and all who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

We must admit, we were hoping that with all of the planning and effort that went into this event we would not be disappointed by a poor attendance. The final results however could not have been better. 410 gamers attended the event, with an additional 110 people who came to the Anime Screen. This has been unanimously agreed as the largest and best Q-Con ever. It is arguably the largest event of this kind in Northern Ireland ever!

Not content with basking in the glory of this event, we have already begun working on Q-Con 2006, (we decided that calling it Q-Con 13 would jinx it from the start :) ). At the minute we have provisionally set the dates as the 23rd to the 25th of June 2006. The cost will be £10 for the weekend and £5 per day, with a £1 additional charge for all registrations at the door. This is to encourage prepayment and give us a better idea of numbers. These details are of course all provisional, but never the less we hope to see you all there!
